3D Fit Print Upper

A new engineered monoloop mesh and 3D Fit Print upper increase breathability and speed up dry time. Developed to provide breathable comfort, the Brooks Cascadia 17 Trail Running Shoes have been constructed using a protective mesh upper. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow throughout the construction whilst, at the same time allow hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. A 3D print mudguard works to protect the feet against trail debris so you can continue with complete comfort and confidence. As well as this, the internal saddle system offers a close-to-foot fit that supports you on tough terrain. The ariaprene tongue sits comfortably against the skin to reduce chafing and irritation. Completing the upper is an integrated gaiter connect point which allows you to attach a gaiter for added protection.

The DNA Loft v2 is a cushioning technology that is soft and comfortable. It carries the foot well and even moulds itself to the shape of the underfoot, allowing the platform to fully support the curvature of the underfoot. The new DNA Loft v2 midsole is a cushioning technology that is soft and comfortable. Having the cushioning and support helps to lessen the impact placed upon your joints as well as attenuating shock, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort. This updated cushioning is 5% softer and 20% lighter than that of the Cascadia 15 with an extra 2mm of cushioning for additional softness. Drainage ports allow water to escape quickly so that nothing weighs you down and more release grooves in the midsole promote extra adaptability on rough terrains.

The TrailTack sticky rubber outsole and high surface-area lugs provide outstanding uphill and downhill traction, even on slippery surfaces. Brooks have engineered this shoe's Ballistic Rock Shield to protect feet from rocks and roots - while also staying comfortably flexible as you take on any terrain.
