Lightweight Woven Upper

The Cloudflow 4 features a lightweight woven upper which not only creates a more streamlined look but offers seamless comfort. The upper includes perforations to allow cool air to flow, whilst letting hot, muggy air escape, providing your feet with a perfect microclimate to thrive in. On have also updated the heel cap fit, making this even more precise compared to their predecessors, for a reassuringly secure fit even as you take sharp corners. The new and improved heel cap teamed with a traditional lacing system to reduce in-shoe slippage, offers a secure and personal fit, keeping you comfortable and in control throughout your run. With the race against climate change in mind, On has made sure that 70% of the Polyester used in the upper of the shoe is recycled.

Advanced Midsole and Outsole

On's Helion superfoam makes up the shoe's midsole, this provides high rebound and energy return keeping you feeling fresher for longer when putting the miles in. The midsole reacts according to your movements, compressing horizontally and vertically to cushion where it should, providing you with nonstop comfort all day long. The shoes have been designed with rocker geometry, with this technology a unique fulcrum effect is created like a rocking chair, which encourages a guided gait cycle for a more efficient run. Sandwiched between the upper and the midsole is the Speedboard, a full-length plate designed to harness the energy you generate while on the move and turn it into momentum. The plate bends and flexes with your run, to propel you forward, faster assisting you when hitting those PBs.

The Cloudflow has been created for soft landings and powerful take-offs, thanks to On's innovative CloudTec technology making every step effortless. CloudTec is a unique cushioning system that absorbs impact, reduces strain and adapts to your running style providing you with a comfortable ride from the first mile to the last. The outsole includes high-abrasion rubber pads to provide you with a strong grip on the road no matter the weather conditions.
